In the description of the product it should be noted this holster does not work with Tassimo T-discs. The description says it works on all coffee pods/discs. NOT TRUE.
Since I purchased the K Pod Holster coffee saver I have been able to use a good supply of podsmade for my coffee maker that the heating unit stopped working. Bought a Keurig and amnow able to use these pods in the "Pod saver". Coffee is hotter and more flavorful.
I was excited to see I could make my own coffee using the pod system in my Keurig. Not a lot, but I don't want any.I've made sure the filter is correct, but still grounds come thru.Today I was pushing out the filter and the bottom came out as. I read thru all reviews and instructions and sad to say I am disappointed. I've made about a dozen cups of coffee and each one has grinds in it. Not sure how that goes back together, I've rigged it as best as possible. This is not as well constructed as I thought it would be.
I bought some pods by mistake thinking they were k-cups. After it is made, I just take the pod out of the adapter and throw it in the trash. As others have said, make sure the white of the pod is showing at the top of the little hole where the needle can penetrate. That worked fine, but then I had to wash the filter each time I used it. I bought Senseo 18 pod pack at a local big box store on sale for $3.79 today. I ordered this adapter to use hoping that it would be a lot easier. At first, I tore open the pods and put the coffee in my k-cup filter adapter. So easy.
IT IS. I simply squeeze the pod, place it in the adapter, place lid on securely, insert it in the holder, close lid and make coffee. I can now have a cup of coffee for about 22 to 30 cents each. Of course, I will always have my k-cups, but it is nice to save some money once in a while.
This is for the random few people that have trouble with the holster.A simple solution. After you place your pod in, put on the cap tightly and then turn the holster over cap side down and place on the counter.Put your finger in the holster and push the pod even tighter against the cap (which is face down on your counter).
